Are steroids effective in nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy?
This clinical trial evaluated the efficacy of oral steroid therapy for the treatment of acute nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy . Prednisone led to faster resolution of optic disc edema, but final visual acuity were similar between groups.
